GNAC Announces 2020-21 Athletic Training Staff Awards of Recognition
As Nat'l Athletic Training Month comes to an end, the GNAC is pleased to honor all 13 athletic training staffs across the conference for their work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

staffs across the conference
WINTHROP, Mass. – As NATA's National Athletic Training Month comes to a close, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference is pleased to announce Athletic Training Awards of Recognition for all 13 staffs across the GNAC.
In lieu of the league's annual Athletic Training Staff of the Year Award, which is normally voted upon by our athletic trainers at the end of each academic year, the GNAC is honoring each and every staff, especially for their tireless efforts amidst the COVID-19 pandemic for our 3,200+ student-athletes.
To show their own AT appreciation, members of the GNAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) have shared video messages on Instagram (@TheGNAC), thanking our athletic training staffs all throughout March's National Athletic Training Month, in conjunction with the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
Whether it was navigating how to safely conduct athletic activities in the fall, or working with the GNAC Athletic Directors' Council this winter to set safe parameters to finally return to spring play, the leadership of our GNAC athletic training and sports medicine teams has been invaluable during the 2020-21 academic year.
ATs are essential to health care. National Athletic Training Month is held every March in order to spread awareness about the important work of athletic trainers.

The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) is an NCAA Division III association made up of 13 member institutions and over 3,000 student-athletes across the New England region. Founded in 1995, the GNAC annually sponsors and administers 22 championships, while balancing academic integrity, athletic opportunity and community involvement in an effort to enhance the student-athlete experience.
