Over 1,000 Student-Athletes Garner 2017-18 GNAC Academic All-Conference Selection

A total of 1,008 student-athletes have been named to the 2017-18 GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, achieving a 3.25 cumulative GPA and having reached second-year academic status.

WINTHROP, Mass. – A total of 1,008 student-athletes have been named to the 2017-18 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by longtime GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh on Thursday.

In order to be eligible for the league's academic all-conference squad, a student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have reached second-year academic status.

Johnson & Wales University (RI) led the way with 123 total selections, while four other GNAC schools eclipsed 90 honorees in Saint Joseph's College of Maine (95), Regis (Mass.) (91), Simmons College (91) and Lasell College (90).
