Lasell's Elizabeth Stickley Earns ECAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Lasell’s Elizabeth Stickley was honored as co-defensive player of the week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference for her stellar performance last week and leading her team to a #2 ranking in the GNAC. The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is the nation’s largest athletic conference and only multi-divisional conference, with approximately 300 member institutions and over 122,000 student-athletes ranging from Maine to North Carolina and westerly to Illinois.
The junior goalkeeper, Elizabeth Stickley, record two individual shutouts this week for Lasers. Stickley made 10 saves on the week. In the GNAC battle against Johnson & Wales, Stickley earned seven of those, which brought them to the second seed entering the tournament. Once in the tournament, she added another three in the conference quarter final win over the Emerson Lions. After this week, Stickley has a total of four shutouts on the season.
