2012 GNAC Men's Golf News
The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has announced the 2012 All-GNAC Men's Golf Teams as well as the major award winners, it was announced this morning by the conference office.
The Rhode Island College men's golf team captured the 2012 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship with a score of 639 (316, 323; +63) after the second round played at Blackstone National Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.
McNamara carded a 112 to finish tied for second at the Trinity Invitational Golf Tournament at Tunxis Plantation Country Club.
Rhode Island College has been predicted to repeat as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference champion in 2012, edging out the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth squad in the 2012 Pre-Season Coaches Poll by seven points.
