Player of the Week
Josh Hogan (Falmouth, Maine), Senior,
University of Southern Maine
Hogan lead USM to a first place finish at the University
of Maine-Farmington Invitational to share medalist honors with a
team-low 76 as the Huskies totaled 320 to win the eight-team event
on September 13. Two days later, Hogan finished in a tie for sixth
at the Husson Invitational with a 78 as USM placed second out of
eight with a 313.
Rookie of the Week
P.J. Levesque (Norton, Mass.), Freshman, Emmanuel
College
Levesque opened his collegiate career by carding a
75 to lead the Saints at Newbury College's Quad-match at Putterham
Meadows (par 71) on Thursday afternoon. Levesque shot a 39 on the
front and a 36 on the back and finished just one stroke off the
individual low for the day.
