BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Former Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Year Rob Hennigan enjoyed some national airtime during the 2013 National Basketball Association (NBA) draft Thursday evening. Hennigan, the General Manager for the Orlando Magic, was interviewed by ESPN anchor Josina Anderson during the draft regarding the Magic’s No. 2 pick in the draft in which they selected Victor Oladipo, a shooting guard from Indiana University.

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2012-13 Men's Basketball All-Star Teams on Friday afternoon. Johnson & Wales University freshman Quarry Greenway (Westchester, N.Y.) was named the Division III New England Region ECAC Rookie of the Year while Albertus Magnus College junior Darius Watson (New Britain, Conn.) and Anna Maria College senior Anthony Click (Springfield, Mass.) were among the ten honorees from the New England region. Both received a nod on the All-ECAC Second team, as voted upon by the New England Men's Basketball Coaches.
