CENTERVILLE, Mass. – John Parente, former Director of Athletics at Johnson & Wales University, has been named as a recipient of the James Lynah Award, Presented by the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Parente will be honored at the 2013 ECAC Honors Dinner sponsored by Jostens on Sunday, September 29th.
Boston, MA – The Suffolk University Athletics Department has announced several major changes to their staff for the upcoming 2013-14 calendar. Head Baseball Coach Cary McConnell will serve as Interim Director of Athletics as he replaces Jim Nelson, who recently retired after 47 years at the institution.

BOSTON, Mass. - Senior Mike Cunningham (Syosett, N.Y.) of the Suffolk University Baseball team was named to the 2013 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-American team. Cunningham was a second team selection to the NCAA Division-III team as an outfielder.
