GNAC Men’s Tennis Weekly Honors: April 4, 2011

Christian Hoskey (Norwich) and Chris Staley (Suffolk) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Men’s Tennis Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Chris Staley, Suffolk, Jr., London, England

Suffolk’s Chris Staley finished the week with a 4-0 record in both singles and doubles play for the Rams. Staley played as the #2 in singles, where he was victorious in both matches this week. His top performance included back-to-back 6-0 victories in singles against conference rival, Emerson College.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Christian Hoskey, Norwich, Fr., Saint Charles, IL

Norwich’s Christian Hoskey went 4-0 on the week and was a vital factor in helping the Cadets capture their first win of the season against Green Mountain College. Hoskey won both matches as the #2 singles player and partnered with teammate Graham Oliveria to be victorious in both doubles matches against Castleton and Green Mountain.
