Saint Joseph's sophomore Amber Dostie (Standish, Maine) has been selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) NCAA DIII New England Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 18, 2012) – Cara Ann Cama, a senior at Albertus Magnus College and a member of the women’s cross country team, earned the title of Miss New Haven County 2012, a preliminary to Miss Connecticut of the Miss America Scholarship Program, in the March 10th competition.
Mastronardi completed the 116th Boston Marathon in 5:00:44, running the race for the John Mastronardi Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of her father who was an avid runner and longtime special education teacher in the Revere, MA school system.
DORCHESTER, Mass. - The 17th running of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Cross Country Championship took place at the nationally renowned Franklin Park course on Saturday, October 29th. Johnson & Wales University captured both the men’s and women’s team championships, marking the second consecutive year that the Wildcats have claimed both titles.
The 2011 GNAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championship will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Franklin Park in Boston, MA. Emerson College and Emmanuel College will host the Championship.
DORCHESTER, Mass. – Emmanuel College hosted the 7th Annual Saints Cross Country Invitational at Franklin Park on Friday evening. Over 300 runners represented 22 colleges and universities, with 17 women’s teams competing in the 5k race and 16 men’s teams in the 8k event. The meet featured repeat team champions in both races. Lesley University captured the women’s team championship with a combined low score of 51 points. Johnson & Wales University took the men’s title, scoring just 35 points.
NEWTON, MA- On Sunday, September 25th, the Lasell College women’s cross country team donated their time and support to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Hopewalks event to benefit the Vernon Cancer Center.
