New Haven, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Men's Soccer team was selected to compete in the 2010 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Men's Soccer Championship as a fifth seed on Wednesday at 6:00 pm against fourth seeded Brandeis University. The Falcons who lost in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship to Suffolk University 2-1 on Saturday, will look to add to their already record breaking season.
The Suffolk University Men’s Soccer team captured the 2010 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship on Saturday afternoon topping the Albertus Magnus Falcons, 2-1 in New Haven, Connecticut. With the victory the Rams will now make an appearance in the NCAA Division-III Men’s Soccer Tournament that will begin on November 11.
Suffolk’s Danny Lloyd was honored as offensive player of the week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference for his spectacular performance last week and leading his team to a current tied third place ranking in the GNAC.
