Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Report - Week 6

Player of the Week
Phil Pichel (Hopkinton, Mass.), Freshman, Attack, Mount Ida College
The rookie Pichel had a great week for Mount Ida, registering 14 total points in three games for the Mustangs. He scored two goals and tallied four assists against both Emerson and Daniel Webster for victories and also recorded one goal and one assist in a loss to Norwich.

Goalie of the Week
Mark Paradiso (Westford, Mass.), Junior, Goalie, Norwich University
Paradiso totaled 17 saves in a 2-0 week for Cadets en route to his fifth-straight win in net. He posted a .607 save percentage on the week and stopped 64.7 percent of the 17 shots he faced against Mt. Ida College. Paradiso recorded a 5.50 goals-against average and added two ground balls and a caused turnover on the week.

Rookie of the Week
Scott Henry (Coventry, R.I.), Freshman, Attack, Anna Maria College
In two games Henry notched 11 goals on 17 shots. The freshman attackman tipped the twine six times in a GNAC match-up vs. Daniel Webster, a 12-8 win. He also scored five times, including the game-winner in an 11-10 victory over Mount Saint Vincent. The AMCATS were a perfect 2-0 (1-0 GNAC) on the week.
