GNAC Men's Soccer 2011 Playoff Schedule Announced
Albertus Magnus secured a first place seeding in the GNAC tournament after achieving an outstanding undefeated conference record of 10-0 and an overall record of 14-2-1. The Falcons just edged St. Joseph’s College early in the season in overtime, to clinch their undefeated record.
Saint Joseph’s College of Maine has earned a second place regular season finish with a conference record of 7-3, and an overall record of 11-5. The Monks notched a 1-0 win against the Lions in the last regular game of the season, to lift their playoff seeding to a 2nd place spot.
Emerson earned their third place seeding with a conference record of 7-3 and an overall record of 8-8. The Lions had a huge 3-2 victory against the Cadets to earn a third seed spot in the tournament.
Norwich achieved a fourth place regular season finish with a conference record of 6-4 and an overall record of 9-8.
Rounding out the bottom four teams are #5 Lasell (5-3-2, 9-4-1), #6 Emmanuel (5-5, 10-5-4), #7 Suffolk (4-5-1, 5-12-1), and #8 Mount Ida (4-5-1, 7-8-1).
