Norwich SAAC Announces its 2011-12 Athletic Representatives

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich University Student Athletic Advisory Council (SAAC) has updated their team representatives for the 2011-12 academic year. Suzanne Whitaker, a senior on the women’s lacrosse team, was elected by her peers as the SAAC President. Classmate and fellow women’s lacrosse representative Meghan Kennedy was tabbed the group’s vice president. Sophomore cross country runner Andrew Pomeroy was selected as the Communications Coordinator and senior men’s basketball player Antonio Davis as his assistant. Sophomore women’s rugby player Baylie Annis will serve as the group’s secretary.

“It's very exciting to be chosen for this position, and I look forward to growing SAAC at Norwich,” says Kennedy. “We have set a high bar for this year, and we are excited to come together as a group and accomplish great things.  We expect great attendance at meetings, and we plan to make a positive impact on Norwich athletics and the campus as a whole.”
