2012 GNAC Baseball Playoff Schedule Announced
The 2012 GNAC Baseball Playoff pairings are now available. The St. Joseph’s Maine Monks have already reached a 30 win season, and will clinch the top seed in the playoffs with a remarkable conference record of 14-2, and overall record of 32-5.
Johnson & Wales (13-3, 25-15) earned a close second place finish with only three conference losses, and was one of the teams to defeat the top-seeded Monks. Anna Maria (11-5, 20-14) earned a third place finish, and Suffolk (11-5, 17-20-1) took fourth place. Rounding out the final two playoff spots is #5 Albertus Magnus (7-7, 13-9) and #6 Emerson (6-10, 12-25).
The GNAC tournament will be a six team tournament bracket with the First Round beginning Tuesday, April 24th at #3 Anna Maria and #4 Suffolk with St. Joseph’s ME and Johnson & Wales receiving byes.
