GNAC Women’s Volleyball Weekly Honors: Sept 6th
Amanda Dondero (St. Joseph CT) and Lauren Zaniboni (Emerson) have earned GNAC Women’s Volleyball Weekly Honors.

Emerson’s Lauren Zaniboni led the Lions to an incredible 3-0 weekend at the Wheaton College Invitational. The Lions defeated Wheaton College, Wentworth and conference foe St. Joseph, where Zaniboni was a huge contributor in all three games. She earned 41 kills, with 6 aces and 18 total blocks. Also Zaniboni was named MVP of the tournament for the second consecutive year as she led the Lions to the tournament championship for the second straight season as well.

St. Joseph’s Amanda Dondero had a total of 25 kills, 15 digs and five aces in her first two collegiate matches last week. She led the Blue Jays with 11 kills, 14 digs and three aces as Saint Joseph was victorious over Eastern Nazarene, 3-1. Dondero also totaled 14 kills, 2 aces, and 3 digs against MCLA in a 3-1 loss on Saturday.
