Catherine Bravo (Johnson & Wales) and Taylor Riley (Lasell ) have both received the GNAC Women’s Volleyball Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Catherine Bravo, Johnson & Wales University, SR, Toa Baja, PR

Catherine Bravo had a stellar week by becoming only the seventh player in JWU history to record 1,000 career digs and doing so in just three seasons with the Wildcats. In an undefeated week for JWU, Bravo averaged 3.3 kills, 3.6 digs and 5.0 set assists for the set. During the 3-1 victory over GNAC opponent Rivier, Bravo recorded a triple double with 16 kills, 17 set assists and 10 digs.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Taylor Riley, Lasell College, FR, Greencastle , PA

The freshman standout has been able to put down 20 kills for the Lasell Lasers this past week. In addition to having 22 digs, Riley managed to average a double-double of the season with a 10 kill and 14 dig showing against Emerson on Saturday.
