GNAC Women’s Volleyball Playoff Schedule Announced

Johnson & Wales secured first place with a conference record of 11-1 and an overall record of 21-13. The Wildcats pulled ahead of Rivier during the last week of the regular season in a 3-1 victory over the Raiders. Johnson & Wales suffered their only loss of the season to the 2009 GNAC Champion, Emerson College.

Rivier earned their 2^nd place seeding with a conference record of 11-1 and an overall record of 21-10. The 2008 GNAC Champion Raiders had a huge at home against #3 Emerson which lifted them to the 2^nd place seed.

Emerson earned a 3^rd place finish with a conference record of 10-2 and an overall record of 21-12. The Lions managed to defeat top ranked Johnson & Wales last Saturday, which added to the increased competitiveness of these top three teams.

Mount Ida earned their 4^th seeding with a conference record of 8-4 and an overall record of 21-7. Early in the season, the Mustangs were victorious over Emmanuel, which lifted them ahead of the Saints to claim the 4^th seed and the home court advantage on Tuesday.

Rounding out the bottom four teams are #5 Emmanuel (8-4, 17-13), #6 Norwich (7-5, 20-10), #7 Lasell (6-6, 12-17), and #8 St. Joseph’s ME (5-7, 17-13).
