The JWU women's volleyball team will be heading to New York University for the 2010 NCAA Division IIII Championship.  The Wildcats, the No. 7 seed in the region, are 24-12 on the season and earned the automatic-bid after capturing the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship.  It is the fifth trip to the NCAA's for the program and the first since the 2002 season.

The squad is led by senior Catherine Bravo (Toa Baja, Puerto Rico), the 2010 GNAC Player of the Year.  She was also named the MVP of the GNAC Championship.  For the season she averaged 2.9 kills, 3.4 set assists and 2.4 digs per set for the Wildcats.  Fellow senior Nikki Balchunas (Brockton, Mass.), another all-GNAC selection, is averaging 1.9 kills and 2.45 digs per contest. Senior Emma Anderson (Meriden, Conn.) rounds out the all-conference selections for JWU, averaging 1.64 kills, 0.9 set assists and 0.7 digs per set.

The Wildcats will face off against second seeded Stevens Institute of Technology on Friday, November 12th at 3L00 p.m.  The Ducks posted a 32-5 record overall and received an at-large bid to the NCAA's after finishing in fourth place in the Empire Eight.
