Sabrina Salmela (Simmons College) and Andreé Simé (Simmons College) have both received the GNAC Women’s Tennis Weekly Honors.

Sabrina Salmela, Simmons College, SO, Beverly, MA

For Sabrina Salmela, this marks her second time in receiving weekly honors this year for the GNAC. The sophomore from Beverly, Massachusetts had singles and doubles wins this week in the number one position against Suffolk. On top of that success, Salmela also added a win at the number one doubles position against Mt. Holyoke.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Andreé Simé, Simmons College, FR, Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadaloupe

Andreé Simé has led all GNAC players with six total wins this week. The standout rookie recorded singles and doubles wins against Suffolk and the dominating Brandeis of UAA. She also amassed victories against St. Joe’s and Mt. Holyoke.
