GNAC Swimming Weekly Honors: February 14, 2011

Amanda Dirksmeier (Simmons) has earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Swimming Weekly Honors.

Amanda Dirksmeier, Simmons, Sr.,  Marshfield, MA

Simmons’ senior, Amanda Dirksmeier finished fifth on both 1- and 3-meter diving at NEISDA this past weekend, scoring 50 points for the Sharks. Her results this year jumped from 12th and 11th place in 1- and 3-meter, respectively, at the 2010 meet. This marks the first time a diver from Simmons has made the finals at New Englands during Diving Coach Erin Brahms' tenure.
