GNAC Women’s Soccer Playoff Schedule Announced
Suffolk University secured first place with an outstanding conference record of 10-2 and overall record of 13-2-1. The Rams suffered their only two losses of the season to Lasell and St. Joseph’s CT, with the majority of their games won by more than a three point spread.
Lasell earned their 2nd place seeding with a conference record of 8-2-2 and an overall record of 11-3-3. The Lasers had a huge at home victory in their first conference game against #1 Suffolk and more importantly their last regular season game against Johnson & Wales, which lifted them to the 2nd place seed.
St. Joseph (CT) earned a 3rd place finish with a conference record of 8-3-1 and an overall record of 13-3-1. The Blue Jays managed to go undefeated in all five non-conference games played this season and were one of the two teams to defeat the top seeded Rams.
Norwich earned their 4th seeding with a conference record of 8-4 and an overall record of 11-7. The Cadets managed to defeat conference rival St. Joseph’s CT in a crucial victory, which propelled the Cadets to a 4th place finish.
Rounding out the bottom four teams are #5 Albertus (7-4-1, 10-7-1), #6 JWU (6-5-1, 8-10-1), #7 Emerson (6-6, 7-10), and #8 Emmanuel (6-61, 9-10).
