GNAC Womens Soccer Weekly Honors: Sept. 27th

Christina Dineson (Albertus), Leslie Hayden (Suffolk) and Taylor Miranda (Suffolk) have all earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference women’s soccer weekly honors.

Suffolk’s Leslie Hayden had a goal and four assists in the Rams' 6-2 victory over St. Joseph's College (Me.) on Wednesday. The junior native from Ross, California added another assist in the Rams’ second loss of the season against St. Joseph’s College (CT). For the week, Hayden had an incredible performance contributing in six of the team's seven goals scored.

Suffolk’s Taylor Miranda has earned rookie of the week honors for the second consecutive week. This week Miranda earned her first career hat trick against St. Josephs (ME) to lead the Rams to a 6-2 victory. She also scored a goal in the Rams’ loss against St.Joseph’s College (CT) totaling 8 points on the week.

Albertus’ Christina Dineson has continued a strong showing in goal for the Falcons who had another 3-0 week to increase their program record to an eight game winning streak. The rookie recorded a shutout in a 4-0 win over Emerson to help the Falcons take over possession of first place within the GNAC and remain the only undefeated team.
