GNAC Women's Basketball Playoff Schedule Announced
The 2010-2011 GNAC Women's Basketball Playoff pairings are now
available. The reigning 2009 and 2010 GNAC tournament and
regular-season champions Emmanuel College Saints are seeded
first.
The Saints clinched first place with an outstanding conference
record of 12-0 and 17-7 overall record. Coming in second place
is Suffolk with a conference record of 10-2, with their only
losses to the Saints and Emerson College who is seeded
6th in the tournament. St. Joseph’s Maine (9-3,
17-8) earned their third place seeding with by winning their last
four conference games. Norwich (8-4, 16-9) took fourth place today
finishing out the top four home seeded teams in the tournament
bracket.
Rounding out the final four spots in the GNAC tournament are #5 St.
Joseph CT (8-4, 18-6), #6 Emerson (7-5, 9-16), #7 Mount Ida (5-7,
9-16) and #8 Johnson & Wales (5-7, 8-17).
