GNAC Women's Basketball Weekly Honors: January 31, 2011
Kathy Andrade (Emerson), Christine Daniels (Norwich) and Devon Diliberto (St.Joseph CT) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Women’s Basketball Weekly Honors.

Emerson’s Kathy Andrade averaged a double-double (18/10) in three games including two GNAC wins to lead Emerson to a 5-1 conference record. The senior shot 46% from the field and 75% from the free throw line, and added a steal each game.

Christine Daniels, Norwich, Sr., Concord, NH

Norwich’s Christine Daniels became the 11th person in Norwich women's basketball history to reach the 1,000-career-point milestone, which she hit early in the second half of Saturday's (1/29) win versus Pine Manor. Daniels continues to have a perfect double-double season, with 11 points and 13 rebounds all in 17 minutes of play time in Wednesday's (1/26) 69-34 win against St. Joseph (Vt.). She continued to lead the Cadets with a 19-point, 15-board performance in Saturday's 81-50 win over the Gators as well. This marks the second consecutive week and the third time this season that Daniels has earned GNAC Player of the Week honors.

Devon Diliberto, St. Joseph (CT), Fr., Waterbury, CT

The Blue Jays’ rookie, Devon Diliberto, averaged a team-high 19.5 points and 4.0 assists in two victories. She made 10 of 15 (66.7 percent) three-point attempts for the week and shot 65 percent from the floor overall (13-for-20). Also had seven rebounds and six steals helping team to 11th and 12th wins of the season, which surpassed the team total of the past three seasons combined. This marks the second time this season Diliberto has earned GNAC Rookie of the Week.
