Christine Daniels (Norwich) and Kayla Vincelette (JWU) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Women’s Basketball Weekly Honors.

Norwich’s Christine Daniels became the 16th female athlete in GNAC history on Saturday to reach 800 career blocks. On January 19^th, Daniels netted 24 points and 23 rebounds in the Cadets conference win over Mount Ida. This past Saturday, she followed up the action with 17 points and 13 rebounds in Norwich's tough loss against conference-rival and top seeded Emmanuel.

Kayla Vincelette, Lasell, Fr., Westport, MA

Games: 3 Points: 72 Rebounds: 9 Assists: 7

Lasell’s Kayla Vincelette produced another notable week for Lasell, averaging 24 points, three rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. The rookie scored a game and season high 29 points against conference foe Emerson College, shooting 9-for-16 from the field, 3-of-7 from the arc, and 8-of-11 from the line; also adding three assist, six rebounds, a block and a steal.
