GNAC Women's Basketball Weekly Honors: January 10, 2011

Christine Daniels (Norwich) and Kayla Vincelette (Lasell) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference weekly honors.

Player of the Week

Christine Daniels, Norwich, Sr., Concord, NH

Norwich’s Christine Daniels continues her record-setting season, tallying a double-double in every single game of the 2010-11 calendar to date. In the last four games, Daniels has helped lead the team to a 3-1 record and netted a career-best 31 points against Lyndon State on Thursday. Also Daniels is currently ranked #1 for double-doubles in the NCAA Division-III ratings.

Rookie of the Week

Kayla Vincelette, Lasell, Fr., Westport, MA

Lasell’s Kayla Vincelette has been named rookie of the week after scoring 11 points per game. Vincelette leaded the Lasers in scoring in all three games this week, including against nationally ranked Western Connecticut. The rookie guard also tore down four rebounds per game and contributed with three assists and two blocks.
