RAIDERS SWEEP LASELL IN GNAC QUARTER-FINALS
Nashua, NH- #2 Rivier College (22-10 overall; 11-1 GNAC) defeated #7 Lasell College in 3 straight sets to advance to the semi-finals of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) playoffs. The Raiders tallied 13 ace serves in the 3 sets to take the Lasers out of system for most of the match. Senior Nicole Rodriguez scored a team high 5 ace serves to lead the Blue and White.

The Raiders tallied 13 ace serves in the 3 sets to take the Lasers out of system for most of the match. Senior Nicole Rodriguez scored a team high 5 ace serves to lead the Blue and White. The middle hitter from Newton Massachusetts also hit for a match high .368 on offense putting down 9 kills with just 2 errors on 19 attempts. Sophomore Kenna Finlayson bombed in a match high 16 kills and scooped up a match high 7 digs for the home team. Junior setter Lauren Saccoccio dished out 32 assists while picking up 7 digs and freshman middle hitter Nicole Peacock scored 8 kills and a match high 5 blocks. Danielle Jacques, Nicole Boucher, and Meghan Farrell rounded off the offense with a combined 9 kills. The back row duo of Caitie Callahan and Jess Amaral were solid as Callahan passed nails and Amaral was all over the court on defense. The pair also combined for 6 service aces. Sophomore Christi Pratte came off the bench to make a difference in the back row.
