GNAC Men’s Volleyball Weekly Honors: March 28, 2011

Jared Andreozzi (Rivier) and Andrew Glenn (Lasell) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Men’s Volleyball Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jared Andreozzi Rivier Sr Barrington, RI

Rivier’s senior Jared Andreozzi was the main reason the Raiders won their fourth consecutive GNAC championship. He dominated play at the net and took home the GNAC 2011 Tournament MVP award for the second consecutive year.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Andrew Glenn Lasell Fr Westport, CT

Lasell’s freshman Andrew Glenn led the Lasers to their first GNAC Championship game and NECVA Tournament appearance. Glenn dished out 131 assists this week, averaging over eight assists per game while adding 12 kills and 13 digs. In the GNAC tournament, Glenn totaled 66 assists and was named to the GNAC All-Tournament team.
