GNAC Men’s Volleyball Weekly Honors: March 14, 2011

Andrew Glenn (Lasell) and Spencer Parker (Lasell) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Men’s Volleyball Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Spencer Parker, Lasell, So., Newington, CT

Lasell’s Spencer Parker produced 31 kills, 21 digs, and four blocks in a 2-0 week for the Lasers. The sophomore hitter averaged 4.4 kills per set and three digs per set in seven sets this week, while hitting 32.1%. This marks the second time this season Parker has received GNAC Player of the Week honors.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Andrew Glenn, Lasell, Fr., Westport, CT

Lasell’s Andrew Glenn averaged 11 assists and 2.28 digs per set this week as the Lasers went 2-0. The rookie totaled 77 helpers and 16 digs over the course of the week. This marks the third time this season Glenn has earned GNAC Rookie of the Week honors.
