Matthew Bruninghaus (Lasell), Dan Hatch (Lasell) and Jacob Lawrence (Emerson) have all earned GNAC Men’s Soccer Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Dan Hatch, Lasell, Sr., Avon, MA

Lasell’s Dan Hatch scored back-to-back goals in a four minute stretch to cushion Lasell's lead and secure a 3-0 victory over St. Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday so the Lasers would remain undefeated in the GNAC.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Jacob Lawrence, Emerson, Fr., Clifton, VA

Emerson’s Jacob Lawrence had both of the Lions' goals in a 1-1 week. This included the game winner in Emerson's GNAC victory over rival Norwich. The win marked the first time since 2006 that Emerson has scored against the Cadets; and they took away a victory. Lawrence's goal against the Cadets added to his current streak of scoring one goal in every collegiate game he has played, five goals in a total of five games.

GOALIE OF THE WEEK

Matthew Bruninghaus, Lasell, Jr., Plymouth, MA

Lasell’s Matthew Bruninghaus kept the Lasers undefeated in the GNAC this week producing seven saves in a 3-0 shutout of 2009 GNAC Champion St. Joseph's Maine on Saturday. He tallied another win and shutout of the season, bringing him to two shutouts thus far. Bruninghaus also collected six saves against Lyndon State College earlier in non-conference play.
