GNAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors: November 29, 2010

Zachary Campbell (Lasell) and Tyler Kelley (St. Joseph’s ME) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference weekly honors.

Player of the Week

Tyler Kelley, Saint Joseph's (ME), Sr., Saco, ME

Monks’ senior, Tyler Kelley had an outstanding week, leading St. Joseph’s to two victories over UMaine-Farmington and University of Southern Maine. Kelley averaged 22 PPG and shot 68% from the floor, which included a 46.2% shot percentage from beyond the three point arc. Additionally, he led the Monks to a come-from-behind victory over USM with 27 points, including 11 consecutive points to tie the game right before halftime.

Rookie of the Week

Zachary Campbell, Lasell, Fr., Cape Coral, FL

Lasell’s Zachary Campbell started his career off with an incredible start producing 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists against GNAC rival Suffolk University. The rookie added one block, two steals, and shot 5-10 in his first career start.
