Lasell Men's Lacrosse to Host First Annual Kevin M. Flaherty Lacrosse Classic

 

Kevin M. Flaherty was a member of the men’s lacrosse team in the spring of 2006 after transferring into Lasell.   He was the type of player that every coach loves to have on his team, as he was full of energy, had a positive outlook, and had a very upbeat personality.  Tragically, Kevin lost his life in the Fall of 2006.  The Lacrosse Classic will bear his name to honor his life and contributions to the men’s lacrosse program at Lasell.  Kevin’s jersey, number 33, has been retired by the men’s lacrosse program at Lasell.

 

The teams participating in the event will be Lasell, Curry College, and Northeastern University.  The event will begin at noon on Sunday, with games scheduled for 12:00, 1:00, and 2:00 p.m.

 

T-shirts will be sold and all proceeds will benefit the Kevin M. Flaherty Foundation for Brain Trauma Research.
