GNAC Men's Golf Weekly Honors: Sept. 20th

Aidan Boyce (Southern Maine) and Nick Cyrus (Emmanuel) have earned GNAC Men’s Golf Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Nick Cyrus, Emmanuel, Sr., Rockland, MA

Emmanuel’s Nick Cyrus earned a 15^th place finish this past weekend at the Blazers Invitational hosted by Elms College. The senior carded a 41 on the front nine and a 44 on the back to lead the Saints to a fifth place finish overall. Individually, he tied for a 15^th place with a low score of 85.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Aidan Boyce, Southern Maine, Fr., South Portland, ME

Southern Maine’s rookie Aidan Boyce placed 1^st at the Maine State Collegiate Championship. Boyce shot a career best second round (68) to tie for a first place last week at Boothbay Golf Club in Harbor, Maine. The rookie totaled a two-round score of 150 (82-68), which helped lead the team to a sixth place overall finish with a score of 655.
