Emmanuel Volleyball Hosts 'Dig Pink'

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Emmanuel College women’s volleyball team sponsored a “Dig Pink” night at their game against neighboring Simmons College. “Dig Pink” was created by the Side-Out Foundation which donates the raised funds towards breast cancer research and finding practical solutions for those suffering from this dreaded disease.

Throughout the country many athletic teams are promoting breast cancer health education and additionally raising funds to further research for October’s breast cancer awareness month.

The “Dig Pink” volleyball match was held Tuesday, October 19^th at the Jean Yawkey Center at Emmanuel College. Both teams wore Pink shirts before and after the game, while fans showed their dedicated support as well.
