Simmons' Kelly Last Named ECAC Division III Goalkeeper of the Week

Simmons' Kelly Last was honored as goalkeeper of the week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference for her spectacular performance last week for the Sharks. The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is the nation’s largest athletic conference and only multi-divisional conference, with approximately 300 member institutions and over 122,000 student-athletes ranging from Maine to North Carolina and westerly to Illinois.

The Simmons’ sophomore goalie had a phenomenal week anchoring the Sharks in their 3-0 record. Last combined 32 saves for a save percentage of .711 on the week against Anna Maria, St. Joseph College, and Framingham State. Her best performance came in the game against Framingham where she made 19 key saves in goal.
