Lasell's Javon Williams Picks Up Weekly Honors from ECAC & GNAC in Final Week of Season

NEWTON, MA- Javon Williams (Mattapan, MA) earned weekly honors from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for his notable performances during Lasell's men's basketball final week of competition for the 2010-2011 season.  

Williams had an outstanding week, averaging 31.3 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists over the course of three games. Williams was the high scorer in all three contests, shooting 60% from the floor and 40% from the arc for the week. He had two double-doubles, recording 30 points and 10 rebounds against Mount Ida and then 35 points and 13 rebounds against Suffolk.  He finished the week with 29 points and nine rebounds against Rivier.
