Suffolk's Gabrielle Balestrier Earns ECAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Suffolk University's Gabrielle Balestrier was honored as player of the week by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for her stellar performance against Emmanuel and Simmons last week. The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is the nation’s largest athletic conference and only multi-divisional conference, with approximately 300 member institutions and over 122,000 student-athletes ranging from Maine to North Carolina and westerly to Illinois.
Suffolk’s Gabrielle Balestrier netted her first career hat trick in a 6-2 Suffolk win over Emmanuel College on Saturday. The rookie also added an assist on the day, totaling seven points for the game alone. Balestrier scored a goal in the Rams’ 5-2 victory over 2009 GNAC Champion Simmons College.
