Emmanuel's Curtis Abram Becomes Saints' All-Team Kills Leader
Emmanuel Men's Volleyball player Curtis Abram (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) recently received his second GNAC Player of the Week selection for the 2011 season. Abram's most recent honor came on February 14th, after the senior outside hitter led Emmanuel to a 4-1 week and a 2nd place finish in the Endicott Invitational Tournament.

Abram's most recent honor came on February 14th, after the senior outside hitter led Emmanuel to a 4-1 week and a 2nd place finish in the Endicott Invitational Tournament.
Throughout the five matches last week, Abram tallied 54 kills and hit .306 for the week. He averaged 3.37 kills, 1.25 digs, 1.0 ace and 0.9 blocks per set and was named to the Endicott Invitational All-Tournament Team.
With his 54 kills last week, Abram surpassed the program's all-time kills record of 1,338 career kills, set by Michael Townsend ('10) last season. Abram now has a collegiate career total of 1,343 kills and will graduate in May as the program's all-time leader.
Abram shared Player of the Week honors this week with Rivier's Jared Andreozzi. This is the 4th-straight week that an Emmanuel Men's Volleyball player has been named the GNAC Player of the Week.
The Saints are currently ranked 12th nationally with an overall record of 13-4. Emmanuel will travel to Emerson College on Tuesday night (2/15)for a cross-town battle with the Lions, beginning at 7pm.
