2010 GNAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament Schedule
The 2010 GNAC Women’s Lacrosse Playoff pairings are now available. The reigning 2009 GNAC tournament and regular-season champions, Emerson College (7-1, 7-5) clinched first place in the conference.
The 2010 season was the most competitive yet. Due to a three-way tie for first place, and according to league by laws the top three teams were seeded based on a coin-toss. Therefore, St. Joseph’s Maine (7-1, 10-3-1) was placed second and Norwich (7-1, 7-6) placed third. Fourth place was determined by a coin toss with a three-way tie as well between Mount Ida (4-4, 8-5), Lasell (4-4, 8-8) and Simmons (4-4, 6-6); and Mount Ida had the luck of the draw finalizing the four spot.
The GNAC tournament will be a four team tournament bracket with the semi-finals beginning Wednesday April 21st at the #1 and #2 seeds. The Championship game will be Saturday, April 24th at the highest remaining seed.
