BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Men's Basketball    

Jose Guitian    Lasell    Sr    Miami, Fla.
Guitian averaged 22 points and 12.67 rebounds in three games this week, helping the Lasers remain unbeaten in the GNAC.  Guitian had 29 points and 12 rebounds against St. Joseph's (ME) and 25 points and 18 rebounds against Norwich. Guitian also had 4 blocks over the week and 8 assists. (Points 66    Rebounds 38    Assists 8)    

                
Women's Basketball

Amanda Dennis    Pine Manor    Sr    Haverhill, Mass.
Amanda Dennis averaged nine points and eight boards for the week, scoring career point No. 1,000 and grabbing her 600th career rebound in a 15-point, nine-rebound, three block effort in the Gators win over Wheelock. She becomes the ninth member of the Pine Manor 1,000-Point Club and is sixth on the all-time school rebounding list. (Points 18    Rebounds 16    Assists 2)

Lauren Zaniboni    Emerson    So    San Diego, Cali.
Averaged a double-double of 12.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for Emerosn against two non-conference opponents.  Shot .846 from the field on 11-13 shooting. (Points 25      Rebounds 21    Assists 3)
