BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Men's Basketball    

Mack Spellman    Emmanuel    Sr    Clinton, NY
The senior forward was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Northwood Classic in West Palm Beach after averaging 20 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.  Spellman hit 12-28 (42.8%) shots from the field and 7-17 (41.2%) from behind the arc, as the Saints went 1-1 in the tourney. Women's Basketball

Iman Davis    Emmanuel    Jr    Toms River, NJ
The junior captain became the 19th player in program history to surpass the 1,000-point milestone, as she poured in 25 points in a loss to Northwood University on 1/3/09.  Davis also dropped 23 points in an 84-72 win over Johnson & Wales University-Miami. BASKETBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Men's Basketball   

Mike Gibbons    Suffolk    Fr    Ringwood, NJ
Mike Gibbons knocked in six-three pointers and had 20 points in Suffolk's loss to the University of New England. Mike added 13 points in Suffolk's win over UMaine - Fort Kent.  (Points 29    Rebounds 5    Assists 3)

Marie Girard   Norwich    Jr    Stratham, NH
Marie Girard scored seven points against Bates, tallied career-high 11 points against Maine-Farmington, and named to the all- tournament team at the Williams Winter Classic. (Points 18      Rebounds 2    Assists 1)
