MEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Korey Leonard, Norwich University (Sr., Pembroke, Mass.)
Leonard led the team with a third place finish in 26:08.5 on the 8K course at Saturday's Bowdoin College Invitational. His finish helped the Cadets secure second place with 44 points.
WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Emma Weisse, Suffolk University (Jr., Hampden, Mass.)
Captured the Suffolk Invite's individual title behind a 5k time of 19:14 at Franklin Park Friday afternoon. She topped the 148-runner field, which included competitors from five GNAC schools.
MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Matyas Csiki-Fejer, Suffolk University (Fr., St. Louis, Mo.)
In a field that featured six GNAC institutions and 152 runners at the Suffolk Invitational, Suffolk's freshman Matyas Csiki-Fejer posted the best time of Division III runners finishing just 44 seconds shy of individual winner, Tiffin's Stephen Korir with his 8K time of 27:05 good for second place.
WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Lauren Fisher, Saint Joseph's College (ME) (So., Hampton Falls, N.H.)
Fisher led the Monks to victory in the Green Mountain College 5K with a 20:09 time, which was good for third overall.
WEEK 7 HONOR ROLL
Pearl Vercruysse, Emmanuel (Mass.) (So., Oak Bluffs, Mass.) Vercruysse finished second in a field of 148 at the Suffolk Invitational, helping the Saints pick up the team victory for the second straight week, crossing the line with a time of 19:44 for a new PR.
Maggie Mann, Regis (Mass.) (Jr., Buzzards Bay, Mass.) Mann earned her best placement of the season Friday afternoon at the Suffolk Invitational at Franklin Park. Mann finished fourth with a time of 20:12, over a minute faster than her performance over the same course last year. Her performance helped Regis to a sixth-place finish in the team standings among the 19-team field.
Alice Najimy, Simmons University (First Year, Pittsfield, Mass.) The first year placed fifth at the five-kilometer Suffolk Invitational on October 12 with a time of 20:18 for her fourth top-10 finish among collegiate runners in as many races.
