Swimmer Of The Week
Carli Quinlan, Simmons (Sr.)
In the 200 yard freestyle, senior Carli Quinlan continued her standout season with a first-place finish, touching the wall at 2:02.87. Then, Quinlan stayed on top in the 100 yard butterfly, claiming first place with a time of 1:02.97. Wrapping up the day, Quinlan added another victory in the 100 yard IM (1:04.12).
Diver Of The Week
Ava LePage, Norwich (Jr.)
Junior Ava LePage recorded a decisive victory on the 1-meter board to highlight Norwich’s diving performance at Keene State. The sophomore posted a score of 162.90, finishing more than 40 points clear of the nearest competitor to claim first place.
Rookie Of The Week
Delaney Allen, Norwich (Fr.)
Freshman Delaney Allen led the Norwich women’s swimming & diving team with a pair of individual victories in Saturday’s dual meet at Keene State College. The freshman opened the meet with a wire-to-wire win in the 200-yard freestyle, touching first in 2:04.93, before returning later in the afternoon to dominate the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:25.49. Allen also contributed to Norwich’s runner-up finish in the 200-yard medley relay and added a second-place effort in the 100-yard freestyle (57.39).
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Kira Geiger, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Geiger turned in a standout performance against Clark University on Saturday, taking first place in both diving events. She opened the day with a winning score of 158.65 in the women’s 1-meter dive and capped her performance with another victory in the 3-meter event, scoring 155.35.
Sara Omar, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Omar enjoyed an outstanding weekend in the pool as the Blue Jays competed for the first time in 2026, narrowly falling on the road at Clark University on Saturday, 132-116. Omar collected three first-place finishes on the day, claiming gold in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:40.66), 200-yard backstroke (2:26.06), and 200-yard IM (2:25.89). Her weekend highlight came in the 200-yard IM, where her impressive time set a new USJ freshman record.
