KANSAS CITY, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches has announced the association's 2018 Men's and Women's Scholar All-Region and All-America Teams for NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA and Saint Joseph's College senior forward Haley DaGraca (Saco, Maine) has earned First Team All-East Region and Third Team Scholar All-America honors.

DaGraca, who last month garnered Google Cloud Academic All-District® honors, becomes the first Saint Joseph's women's soccer player to collect United Soccer Coaches academic acclaim after scoring 19 goals with seven game-winners and 44 total points during her senior season.

DaGraca, a Medical Biology/Pre-Vet major, is a two-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Academic honoree and has been listed on the Dean's List following each of her six semesters at Saint Joseph's. The two-year women's soccer team captain was also the recipient of the Chemistry department's 2017 Organic Chemistry Award and is an active member of the SJC Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

In order to receive Scholar All-America recognition, student-athletes must post a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or better throughout their career, have started more than 50 percent of all games and significantly contributed to their team, and be a junior or above in academic standing; and, if a transfer student, in second year at school.

The four-time First Team All-GNAC honoree and two-time GNAC Offensive Player of the Year recipient (2016, 2018) owns the team's career records in goals (70), points (155), game-winners (20), and shots (403). She wrapped up her collegiate career ranked sixth in both points and goals among all active NCAA DIII Women's Soccer players.

Student-athletes on this year's Scholar All-America Teams will be formally acknowledged for their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom at the All-America Ceremony & Reception on Jan. 12, 2019 at McCormick Place West in Chicago in conjunction with the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Convention.
