WLAX: Saint Joseph's of Maine Runs Away From Pack in 2023 Preseason Poll
Saint Joseph's of Maine received 12 of a possible 14 first-place to take the top position in the 2023 GNAC Preseason Poll, as voted upon by the league's head coaches.

WINTHROP, Mass. – Saint Joseph's College of Maine received 12 of a possible 14 first-place to take the top position in the 2023 GNAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll, as voted upon by the league's head coaches.
Last spring, SJC captured its second-ever GNAC Championship – its first since the 2014 campaign – following a four-year title run by Johnson & Wales University (RI).
JWU finished third in the poll with one first-place vote and 174 points, narrowly behind poll runner-up Simmons University, which also received one first-place nod with 176 points overall.
Making up the rest of the top-10, in order, included Emmanuel College (149 points), Norwich University (135), Colby-Sawyer College (133), Lasell University (107), University of Saint Joseph CT (91), Elms College (88), and Rivier University (60). For the complete results, please see below.
