Swimmer of the Week
Jen Collins (Trumbull, Conn.), Junior, Simmons College
Collins won the 200 Free, 100 Free and 200 IM to score 27 individual points for Simmons. She also anchored the winning 200 Freestyle relay. Jen's contribution to Saturday's meet led Simmons to a close victory over Westfield State.
Rookie Player of the Week
Kevyn Lee (New York, N.Y.), Freshman Simmons College
Lee finished second in both the 500 and 1000 Free. She also swam on the second-place 200 Free Relay, where the Sharks went 1-2 to win the meet against Westfield. Kevyn was able to achieve a New England "A" qualifying standard in the 1000 Free.
