Mount Ida's Cherie Parisi Reaches 1,000 Point Milestone

Mount Ida College women's basketball junior forward Cherie Parisi (South Attleboro, MA) is the newest member of the Mustang 1,000 point club.  With 8:51 left in the first half during Saturday's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match-up against hosting Suffolk Univeresity, Parisi made a free throw for her seventh point of the game and 1,000 of her career as a part of the women's basketball program. Parisi lead the Mustangs in scoring (15.6) and rebounds (9.3) per game for the 2008-2009 season.
