Norwich Men's Cross Country Claims 2007 GNAC Championship
STANDISH, Maine - John Pomeroy, Zach Charney and Brendan Thompson all placed within the Top 10 to lead the Norwich men's cross country team to its third straight GNAC Championship on Saturday afternoon. The Cadets put together 42 points and outdistance runner-up St. Joseph's (Maine) by 29 markers.
The trio, who each received All-Conference honors for placing in the Top 10, was instrumental to the victory.
Pomeroy led all NU runners, finishing third overall with a clocking of 28:58. Charney, meanwhile, took fifth with a time of 29:26. Thompson rounded out the Top 10, placing 10th with a clocking of 29:53.
