Sophomore Thomas Belton (Springfield, MA/Springfield Central) helped his team to a 2-0 week in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play over Emerson College and Albertus Magnus College.  He notched 28 kills against the Lions.  (Kills 39     Assists 0     Digs 21)

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Brendan McGourn     Lasell     Fr     Southington, CT
McGourn played great over the course of a 3-2 week for the Lasers, averaging 10.59 assists per game and 2.29 digs per game. He produced two double-doubles over the week, at University of New Haven with 48 assists and 14 digs, and at home against Lancaster Bible with 40 assists and 10 digs.  McGourn also put in a 6 kill, 39 assist, and 9 dig performance against Emmanuel in GNAC action.  (Kills 14     Assists 18     Digs 39)
