Player of the Week

Scott Wright   Rivier   Salem, NH   SR

Scott Wright, the GNAC Tournament MVP, had a great overall week as the Raiders went 4-0 and kept their winning streak going.  Scott had 12 kills and hit .625 against Johnson and Wales then added 7 more kills (.357) along with 5 blocks in the Championship game against Emmanuel
College.  Earlier in the week, in a thrilling 5 set win over Endicott College, Scott took over the match as he recorded 7 blocks, 18 kills and 4 aces, including 3 aces in game 5 to give the Raiders a comfartable cushion to pick up the win.

Rookie of the Week

Drew Corwin    Rivier    Sudbury, MA    FR

Drew had a great week, contributing both on offense and defense.  Drew picked up 11 digs in the 5 set victory against Endicott College along with 5 blocks.  He then hit .500 with 3 kills on 6 swings with 0 errors and 4 blocks in the GNAC Tournament finals against Emmanuel College to help Rivier to a 3-0 victory and their secong straight GNAC title.
